What do I see the iTV for? Streaming media, a glorified IP TV box, an easier way to bring the iPod to the living room.

You have to remember that unlike iMac, Mac Pro, Macbooks, etc, the iTV will have to satisfy Windows users as well. I really don't see Apple moving into utilizing Remote Desktop on Windows machines THROUGH iTV. If this were a Mac world only, MAYBE I could see this happening, but the harsh reality is that we live in a primarily Windows world.

Generally speaking (for people who use HBO On Demand), this has been extremely popular, maybe this is why HBO is still not being sold on iTunes? Why download when you have access to nearly all of the HBO content for free and instantaneous? Good example is HBO, nearly *ALL* of their shows are On Demand now which is instant access to all of their shows. This category amongst cable companies are expanding very rapidly and offering free content left and right. Why? Cable and Satellite providers are providing DVRs and a MUCH lower cost, and even though their UI/interface sucks terribly, because of the LOW COST, the Cable/Satellite boxes are outselling Tivos. While, Tivo is still lauded in the industry and consumers as having the "best DVR interface/UI," it's still not selling well to consumers. This places iTV in direct competition with Cable and Satellite providers, which (imho) is a losing battle. I think a lot of you are expecting way too much on the "iTV" and will be very disappointed when it gets released. It's all somewhat speculation until we hear Apples response.

I'm far more inclined to believe the words of a guy who wrote the code that collects this information in the first place It being a bug is simply a rumour which has no links to an official source. Granted you don't sound like a developer and so won't have access to these videos, but any other developer could do the same and corroborate this. This 'consolidated.db' matches the words in the video perfectly, making it no great assumption that this is the file which fulfils this purpose. Given that we have the engineer partly behind this framework explain that the iPhone caches this information, we know that the iPhone has to be storing this information somewhere. Notes: OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN NOVEMBER 3, 1998.OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT CHEVROLET/GEO AT 1-80.ALSO CONTACT THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION'S AUTO SAFETY HOTLINE AT 1-888-DASH-2-DOT (1-88).Who needs an undocumented source when you could watch WWDC 2010 Session 115 'Using Core Location in iOS 4' at 14 minutes and 30 seconds in and hear Morgan Grainger, a man partly responsible for the Core Location framework in the iPhone SDK (read: all location functionality on iPhone) describe how the iPhone caches nearby cell tower information to help the device find its location in the circumstances above. UNTIL THE VEHICLE IS SERVICED, OWNERS ARE ADVISED WHEN SHIFTING TO "PARK," ALWAYS APPLY THE PARK BRAKE BEFORE RELEASING THE SERVICE BRAKE. Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE SHIFTER ASSEMBLY. THE SHIFT LEVER APPEARS TO BE IN "PARK," BUT CAN EASILY BE MOVED FROM THE "PARK" POSITION WITHOUT THE USE OF THE KEY, TRANSAXLE LEVER DETENT BUTTON, OR DEPRESSING THE BRAKE.Ĭonsequence: IF THE SHIFT LEVER WERE TO COME OUT OF "PARK" WHILE THE VEHICLE IS PARKED ON A NON-LEVEL SURFACE, THE VEHICLE COULD ROLL INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH. Summary: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AN AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE. Recall 10570 started on by MFR effecting 32,903 units.
